Doctrinal

  • The divine inspiration and entire trustworthiness of the Holy Scriptures as originally given and its supreme authority in all matters of faith and conducts;

  • The unity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit in the Godhead;

  • The sovereignty of God in creation, revelation, redemption and final judgement;

  • The dignity of man created in the image of God and also the universal sinfulness and guilt of human nature since the fall, rendering man subject to the wrath and condemnation of God; we cannot save ourselves but need salvation;

  • The redemption from the guilt, penalty and power of sin only through the sacrificial death (as our Representative and Substitute) of Jesus Christ, the Incarnate Son of God;

  • The Resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, He now sits at the right hand side of God and intercedes in prayer for us;

  • The necessity of the work of the Holy Spirit in making the death of Christ effective to the individual sinner, granting him repentance toward God and faith in Jesus Christ;

  • The indwelling and work of the Holy Spirit in the believer and His sovereign action in bestowing spiritual gifts to the people of God for up building of His Church;

  • The only holy Universal Church which is the body of Christ and to which all true believers belong;

  • The expectation of the imminent personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ, to judge the living and the dead.
